Coverall Bingo Jackpots

A coverall, or blackout, usually refers to the highest prize that can be won in the 75 ball version of Bingo and requires all of the 25 numbers on a game card to be covered or daubed.

The pattern is similar to the ‘full house’ that makes up the top prize in the 90 ball version of the game and takes place on a card with a 5x5 grid that usually consists of 24 random numbers and a free number in the exact centre of card.

A coverall Jackpot often follows another game on the same ticket where players may be required to complete a line or a set pattern before the coverall stage of the game begins.

Coveralls can see players win sizeable amounts of money including some huge progressive jackpot prizes. Most coveralls will consist of a cash prize that is awarded regardless of how many numbers a covered card is called in. Often, the house will make a jackpot available that is generated by the number of tickets sold for the game. It is also common for the house to boost the jackpot by topping up the prize money total themselves.

Jackpots can be won if a player completes a coverall in a limited number of calls. Online Bingo players can also find themselves playing for a coverall to win a progressive jackpot prize. Although the format of the game is the same, progressive jackpots rise in increments based on ticket sales but continue to increase on a daily or weekly basis if the prize isn’t won.
