ASA, who handles complaints regarding advertising and TV ads, has recently investigated Posh Bingo latest TV adverts following a complaint received, saying the £20 free bingo offer was misleading and unclear.
The ASA has previously investigated many online bingo advertising campaigns, following many complaints which usually revolve around the mentioning of free bonus, where in most cases bonuses are not really free but pending a money deposit, or the bonus is only virtual currency for online play and is no real money. Recent ASA rulings have banned Tombola Bingo’s previous TV ads, and the latest advertising banners of Bingo Hero.
However, unlike these previous rulings, the conclusion here is that the TV ad was not misleading, and by clearly stating that the £20 free bingo bonus is upon depositing £10 and is not a ‘no deposit bingo bonus’, Posh Bingo has operated within the British guidelines.
Posh Bingo was recently re-launched with brand new design and promotions, and has produced a series of TV ads to support that. Visit Posh Bingo
