Leading market research company Nielson recently released a report which indicated that growth within the UK online gaming space is exceeding that of even the white-hot social media sector. Whereas Facebook added only an additional 2.2 million users last year, online gaming sites added a whopping 3.2 million. This represents a 40% increase in UK-based online gaming participants over the previous year.
