The Long Awaited New Samsung Galaxy Release

No, for those of you who don’t know phones, we are not talking about Samsung creating any outer space planets but the latest addition to the series the mobile phone company! Samsung have officially announced the new phone with official title: ‘Galaxy S III’. The phone was launched in style with an event in London and seems tipped to be the biggest rival to the iPhone dominance to date.
This is the official phone for the London 2012 Olympics so what gives this newest release the gold medal gong? Let’s start with the design…It is said to be pebble inspired so rather than being all edges. This may be a hit with some and a miss with others, what is good about it though is that it shows this is a new design which isn’t trying to imitate the iPhone but be a great model in its own right. It is larger than the previous Galaxy S II but also has an additional home button so you can get faster access to all the widgets and apps on the phone. If you are looking for a big HD screen then you will love this but if you prefer a smaller phone then this might be a bit of a drawback. The size does not affect the overall lightness of the new phone though; it is still slim and light to hold.
What about the screen? There is no denying the superior power and resolution of the Galaxy III. The 4.8in 1280x720 resolution HD screen has amazing colours and really is an impressive feature of this new smart phone. The Super AMOLED 720p display will show you all the photos and videos you want to see with perfect clarity and brightness, showing why it is the best in the market just now. The phone will also feature both a rear and front camera with burst shot function and zero-lag shutter speed. The front camera has a Smart Stay feature so you can identify when eyes are looking at the display and we haven’t even mentioned the quad core processor that’s been added yet!
