Netball Sponsorship With Tidy Bingo
Sunday, 5 October 2014In May Tidy Bingo signed as the sponsors of a couple of netball teams from Ripon in North Yorkshire, previously home to one of the site owners before she moved away. The club and original team (Ripon Rockets) were absolutely delighted to accept the very generous sponsorship deal that Tidy had put forward. As we see many established brands sponsoring big name clubs it is refreshing to see relative newcomers like Tidy forming partnerships with local teams, because at the end of the day, famous or not, securing a sponsorship deal is to everyone’s benefit.
Ripon Rockets is an ever growing club that ranges from under 8’s right through to 40+ that offers women and girls the chance to play the game they love. A scheme that was developed by England Netball known as Back 2 Netball was adopted by Ripon Rockets just over two years ago and has been such a success that the club now boasts three senior teams.
The sponsorship that Tidy has presented is for the two senior teams, one being the newly formed team known as Ripon Meteors – a name which was decided upon through a vote by players from Tidy Bingo. As the teams see the start of the winter league, Ripon Meteors were very pleased to walk away with a win on their debut, a proud moment for both club and sponsors.
The sponsorship deal from Tidy has made a huge impact on the club, allowing them to purchase new patch bibs emblazoned with the Tidy Bingo logo, they also purchased trophies with the Tidy logo on that are given to players at their annual awards evening, plus it covered most of the cost of the entry fees to the league. The site is very enthusiastic about this partnership and has promised to keep in close contact with the teams to follow their progression throughout the winter season.
Well done to Tidy Bingo, it just shows you don’t have to be a big business to secure a successful sponsorship deal.
