Self-nominated, Abbie leveraged the power of social media by creating a Facebook page promoting her cause. The competition was fierce, and Abbie was able to garner a grand total of 263 votes, edging out the runner-up by a mere 13 votes.
After Abbie won her crown the attention turned to the Mr. Wink contest. James Cancea of Middlesex, aka leedsboi, won the crown in a tight race with only an 8 vote margin of victory. Originally entering on a lark, Mr. Cancea quickly appreciated the significance of his victory once he laid eyes on the newly crowned Miss Wink.
The entire site is now abuzz with predictions and speculations surrounding their pending first date on Saturday. The couple will start the evening with drinks at Revolution Bar in Soho before heading to dinner at Eagle Bar and Diner. Check back at Wink Bingo after the date for all the juicy details!
