Playtech Joins WLA

The World Lottery Association has approved Playtech, designers and developers of international gaming software, as associate members of their organization. 
The World Lottery Association are responsible for maintaining the highest levels of ethical behavior throughout state-operated lottery forms and gaming companies. The group, based in Switzerland, now has members in 76 different countries across five separate continents and approved organizations are currently generating almost $200 billion every year.

Approval has been welcomed by Playtech and Mor Weizer, Chief Executive Officer for the Isle of Man company, said that they were proud to have been approved for associate membership within the World Lottery Association.

Playtech hail themselves as the leading supplier of online gaming software in the world and offer an extensive range of different gaming platforms for online casino sites, online bingo rooms and poker sites - like Bingo Day for example - as well as providing software for fixed-odds betting terminals on a global scale.

The playtech software is has been the driving force behind the success of the Bingoland site where more than £1million was paid out in prize money last month.

The World Lottery Association have also revealed their delight at taking Playtech on board and are looking forward to working alongside its’ latest member.
