Exclusive: Interview with Moon Bingo affiliate program manager

We sat down for a short interview with Oren Brandeis, affiliate program manager at Moon Bingo and asked him about the impressive re-launch and Moon Bingo’s plans for the future. As the affiliate manager, Oren is involved with many of the key decisions regarding promotions and bonuses at Moon Bingo.

Here is our exclusive interview:


Q: Hi Oren. First of all, congratulations on the re-launch of Moon Bingo, appearing to be a very successful move. How do you sum up the re-launch as an independent site so far?

A: Moon Bingo has displayed miraculous growth since its November re-launch as a standalone bingo network. It took almost one year to prepare for the re-launch, so we felt quite comfortable when we went live with the new site and game lobby, but no one could have predicted our fantastic current results.

Q: What were the key factors in your decision to re-launch Moon Bingo?

A: We have been promoting online bingo brands for over 3 years. We built our foundations slowly, starting with Spectra Bingo. We were fortunate enough to experience rapid growth. During 2009 we felt it was our time to push forward and compete with the leading brands in the bingo industry.

Q: What are the benefits the recent change enables you to offer Moon Bingo members?

A: The recent changes enable us to give our players amazing offers, free 24 hour bingo rooms within which players have a chance to win lots of money! Our new site features improved chat games with great prizes. Our chat team's goal is to make our players feel at home, answer any questions they may have and give away as many prizes as possible.

Q: What are Moon Bingo’s plans for the future? Are there any exciting promotions planned for Moon bingo members?

A: Our goal at Moon Bingo is to give the players an experience, where they will feel part of our family. We are always updating our promos and prizes, allowing our site to be fun, interactive and exciting. At Moon Bingo, players will not only have a great time but will also win tons of prizes!

Q: Do you have any plans to market Moon Bingo outside of the UK?

A: At this time we have no plans to market Moon Bingo outside of the UK.

Q: More and More sites today are using mainstream TV advertising, as well as Moon Bingo launching a TV campaign these days. How do you see the role of TV advertising in the branding of Moon Bingo? Has TV advertising become the standard for branding an online bingo site?

A: TV advertising is one of many ways to increase the exposure of online bingo. It can be argued that TV advertising has become the standard for branding on-line Bingo sites and indeed as you mentioned we have also launched a TV campaign ourselves. However, there are also other forms of advertising that must not be forgotten, such as the internet, radio, newspapers etc.

Q: Is online bingo still a women only thing? How is Moon Bingo in regards to that?

A: Although online bingo is still considered predominantly for the female sector, it has in recent months attracted increased numbers of men alike, lessening the "gap" between the sexes. Moon Bingo offers a huge variety of games for both men and women including not only bingo but also casino and slot machine games.

Q: How do you see the online bingo market in the next few years?

A: The online bingo market will continue to grow over the next few years due to both the existing and future brands predicted to enter the online bingo market. As a result, competition is now greater and the players have a larger variety of games to choose from.
