Burglars hit the Jackpot at Mecca Bingo

A gang of thieves forced their way into a Mecca Bingo hall in Southampton last week and made off with thousands of pounds after smashing up more than 20 machines and stealing all the contents.
Detectives, who won’t disclose exactly how much money was taken, believe that the gang used a ‘get away’ vehicle to abscond with the cash. The good news however is that the bosses at the Mecca Bingo Hall have cleaned the place up and it is now open for business as usual! A spokesman confirmed what had taken place, adding that the management were relieved that there were no team members or customers on the premises at the time.
